Jazz seems to have taken over the Goan scene with many jazz enthusiasts mushrooming and getting together for one quite evening of melodious reprise. Jazz Goa a group of goan jazz lovers held a musical evening at the house of Armando Gonsalves in Campal. The people behind Jazz Goa besides the musicians are Valerio Sequeira, Armando Gonsalves, Jaimini Mehta.

The evening set off with some good compositions keeping the select yet very intrested audience spellbound. The evening saw the performance of Neelamjit Dhillon who is a professional jazz saxophonist from Canada and is in the country to learn Indian music. Neal performed along with international jazz singer Helen Louise Jones, Colin D’Cruz who was on the bass guitar, George Fernandez on the keyboards and Lester Godinho on the drums. The evening was made enjoyable with compositions succinctly chosen and sprinkled with just the right dose of melody giving the Goan jazz lovers an evening to reckon with.
